This document explains what cookies andesvivienda.com uses, for what purpose and how you can manage them. We comply with the Ecuadorian Organic Personal Data Protection Law and Google Consent Mode v2 signals.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember information. Here we use cookies as well as equivalent technologies (local storage, pixels).
2. Cookies by category
Necessary: session, anti-CSRF tokens, load balancer (always on). Functional: selected language (‘av_lang’). Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (‘_ga’, ‘_ga_*’), 13 months. Advertising and measurement: Google Ads (‘_gcl_*’, ‘FPGCLGB’), 90 days. Personalization: remember viewed content blocks (‘av_view’), 30 days.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
Before loading any Google script, this site sets default consent signals to ‘denied’ for ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage. Only when you accept the corresponding category do we send the ‘granted’ update. We also enable ‘ads_data_redaction’ and ‘url_passthrough’ to minimize the identifiers shared with Google.
4. Third-party cookies
Google LLC (Ads, Analytics) — states defined by Consent Mode v2. We do not embed social network pixels by default.
5. How to change your preferences
You can open the cookie manager from the ‘Cookie preferences’ link in the footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser. If you delete cookies or local storage, the banner will reappear on your next visit.
6. Validity of your choice
Your choice is retained for 13 months. After that period or if you clear your browser, we will ask for your consent again.
